2025 marks the 120th anniversary of the establishment of Tsumeb City in Namibia. Recently, the local municipal government solemnly held the annual "Tsumeb Copper Festival" and the 120th anniversary celebration of the city's establishment, playing a movement of urban development and cultural inheritance through grand ceremonies. In this grand event with both commemorative significance and industry characteristics, Sinomine Tsumeb Mining Holding (Proprietary) Limited, a subsidiary of Sinomine Resource Group, joined hands with the 16th Chinese Medical Team to Namibia to actively participate. With practical actions, it fulfilled corporate social responsibility, made contributions to the harmonious development of the community, and won high praise from governments at all levels and community grass-roots units.

Since September 2024, the copper business sector of Sinomine Tsumeb Mining Holding (Proprietary) Limited has been facing continuous losses due to the dual impacts of raw material supply shortages and the smelting and processing industry entering a historical downturn. Despite operational pressures, the enterprise still adheres to social responsibility and actively supports the development of the local community. As one of the sponsors of this Tsumeb Copper Festival, Sinomine Tsumeb provided important support for the smooth holding of the event. Wang Zhenhua, Vice President of Sinomine Resource Group and Chairman of Sinomine Tsumeb Mining , attended the event, and Lou Yougang, General Manager of Sinomine Tsumeb Mining, delivered a speech. He not only introduced the current operation status of the smelter to the guests present but also clearly expounded the enterprise's future development plan, conveying the firm determination to overcome difficulties. Traditional Chinese Medicine Diagnosis and Treatment Brings Warmth, Cultural Exchange Promotes Friendship
In this Copper Festival event, Sinomine Tsumeb Mining specially invited the 16th Chinese Medical Team to Namibia to provide free diagnosis and treatment services for the local community and the smelter's employees. The arrival of the medical team not only brought health care to the residents but also allowed local people to more intuitively feel the unique charm of Chinese culture through the promotion of traditional Chinese medicine and Chinese traditional culture. This initiative was warmly welcomed by the community and became a beautiful scenery in the event.
