On the morning of November 6, 2025, witnessed by leaders including Zheng Guangquan, Secretary of the Xinyu Municipal Party Committee, and Yi Hong, Secretary of the Party Committee of Central South University, Zheng Guozhong, General Manager of Sinomine (Jiangxi) Lithium Industry Co., Ltd., and Professor He Lihua's team from the School of Metallurgy and Environment, Central South University, signed an intentional cooperation agreement on the "Key Technology Research Project for High-Purity Lithium Phosphate Preparation" at the special event of "Secretaries and Ministers Entering Campuses" held at Central South University. The project is expected to take lithium sulfate solution produced by ore lithium extraction as the core lithium source, overcome the technical bottlenecks in the preparation of high-purity lithium phosphate. The product can be directly used as an additive for solid-state battery electrolytes, achieving the dual breakthrough of "cost reduction and efficiency improvement" and "purity upgrading", and providing core support for the performance iteration of new energy batteries.
