On November 12, 2025, the Africa Lithium Resources Delegation from Shanghai Metals Market Information Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "SMM") visited Bikita Mineral Pvt Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Bikita"). Bikita warmly welcomed the delegation and organized forums, exchanges, and on-site visits.
At the forum, Bikita's management team detailed the company's pegmatite lithium mine project to the delegation, including its development history, resource reserves, mining-selection-smelting construction plans, and safety and environmental management system. Since Sinomine Resource successfully acquired the Bikita Mine in 2022, the company has continuously increased geological exploration and technological investment. Through systematic and refined exploration work, the proven lithium resource reserves have been significantly improved, the mine's production capacity has been continuously enhanced, and the overall resource potential has been fully verified.
Currently, Bikita is steadily advancing the technological transformation project of its spodumene concentrator. By optimizing process flows, introducing intelligent equipment and automatic control systems, it aims to further improve mineral processing efficiency and product quality. Meanwhile, the company's planned smelter project is under demonstration and promotion. In the future, it will realize an integrated production pattern of "mining, selection, and smelting", comprehensively enhance the industrial chain synergy benefits and product added value, and provide solid support for the group's global lithium industry layout.
The delegation conducted on-site visits to Bikita's mining operation areas and concentrator operation sites, gaining a detailed understanding of the mine's production organization, safety and environmental protection measures, and local employee training. Members of the delegation highly praised Bikita's standardized and orderly safety management, proactive local employment policies, and remarkable project construction achievements.
A representative of SMM stated that the Bikita Mine boasts superior resource endowments and complete infrastructure conditions. With the scientific management and technical support of Sinomine Resource Group, the project has enormous development potential in the future through continuous innovation-driven development, strengthened local cooperation, and active adaptation to the policy environment. Bikita's successful practice provides a replicable and promotable model for Chinese enterprises "going global" to carry out international resource cooperation.
