Bikita Minerals General Manager Mr. Wang Zhenhua Meets with Zimbabwe President

April 8^th 2022, the General Manager of Bikita Minerals (Pvt) Limited and Director of Sinomine Group today met with President of Zimbabwe Mr. Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa in his office. The leaders held a friendly discussion.

Mr. Wang Zhenhua extended sincere greetings to the President from Chairman Wang Pingrwei, and reported to the President in detail the achievement that Sinomine made in the recent years. Accordingly, Sinomine has transformed from a traditional geo-tech services company into a global cesium & rubidium giant and major player in lithium battery. Mr. Wang told President that Sinomine purchased Bikita Mine in January 29^th 2022 and the closing is moving forward smoothly. Sinomine will sson be the owner of the only operating lithium mine in Zimbabwe if not Africa. Mr. Wang said Sinomine is the major player and promoter of the lithium mine business in Zimbabwe. Sinomine will increase its investment in the Bikita mine, provide job opportunities for local residents and promote the mining sector in Zimbawe. Sinomine will help the government to achieve 12billion USD output in mining sector in 2023. 

Mr. President is impressed by the achievement by Sinomine and thanked Sinomine’s contribution to Zimbabwe for the past 20 years. He underscored Sinomine’s devotion in promoting the mining industry in Zimbabwe. He said Sinomine is a good friend and good partner of Zimbabwe people. He will support Sinomine’s construction of Bikita Mine and encourage Sinomine to continue investment in Zimbabwe to promote the local lithium development as well as the bilateral trade cooperation.
