On June 19, 2026 (local time), Mr. Dingani Banda, Commissioner General of the Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA), led a senior management delegation on a site visit to Sinomine Kitumba Minerals Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Kitumba Mining”) for inspection and discussions. Mao Fulong, General Manager of Kitumba Mining, together with the project management team, welcomed the delegation and participated in the meeting.

During the visit, Commissioner General Banda and his delegation toured the project site, inspecting the open-pit mine, processing plant, smelter, and photovoltaic power station. He noted that the visit provided a firsthand understanding of Sinomine’s strong commitment and capabilities as a responsible international investor in Zambia.

At the meeting, Commissioner General Banda highly commended Kitumba Mining for its contribution to Zambia’s economic development and its commitment to fulfilling its tax obligations. He stated that, as an important mining enterprise in Zambia, Kitumba Mining’s sound operations and tax compliance have made a positive contribution to the country's sustainable fiscal revenue growth.

Commissioner General Banda also shared guidance on the Company’s future tax compliance efforts. He highlighted the importance of the nationwide implementation of the electronic invoicing system and introduced a series of recent reforms aimed at improving tax compliance across the mining sector. He expressed his hope that benchmark companies such as Kitumba Mining would continue working closely with the Zambia Revenue Authority to further strengthen tax administration throughout the industry.
On behalf of the Company, General Manager Mao Fulong welcomed Commissioner General Banda and his delegation and expressed sincere appreciation for the Zambia Revenue Authority’s continued support in tax policy implementation and administrative procedures.
Mao emphasized that Kitumba Mining will continue to regard compliant operations as the foundation of its long-term development in Zambia. The Company remains committed to strictly complying with all applicable laws and regulations and fulfilling its tax obligations in a timely and responsible manner. Going forward, Kitumba Mining will maintain open and efficient communication with the Zambia Revenue Authority, actively support tax administration initiatives, and continue serving as a benchmark for compliance among Chinese-invested enterprises in Zambia.
The visit further strengthened mutual trust and cooperation between the Company and Zambia’s government authorities, providing a solid foundation for Kitumba Mining’s long-term, stable, and sustainable development in the country.
