The core asset of Sinomine Kitumba Minerals Company Limited is the Kitumba copper mine located in Mumbwa District, Central Province, Zambia. The mine has a cumulative proven copper resource of 27.9 million tons, with a copper metal content of 614,000 tons and an average copper grade of 2.20%. Currently, the company is investing in the construction of an integrated mining, beneficiation and smelting project, which includes major production facilities such as open-pit mines, waste rock dumps, beneficiation plants, smelters, tailings ponds, explosive depots, photovoltaic power stations and substations, as well as auxiliary production facilities. The designed scale of the mining and beneficiation project is 3.5 million tons of raw ore per year, and the designed capacity of the smelting project is 60,000 tons of cathode copper per year.
