On May 20, 2026, Sinomine Resource Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Sinomine”) and Peru Jinda Mining Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Peru Jinda Mining”) signed a cooperation agreement for the La Joya Copper Project in Peru at Sinomine’s headquarters.

The agreement was signed by Wang Pingwei, Chairman and President of Sinomine, and Li Zuhui, Chairman of Peru Jinda Mining, on behalf of their respective companies. The signing marks the beginning of substantive strategic cooperation between the two parties and represents Sinomine’s first step into the South American mining market following years of research and preparation.
Under the agreement, Peru Jinda Mining will transfer the mining rights for the La Joya Copper Project in Peru to a newly established joint venture controlled by Sinomine, while leveraging its local expertise and operational experience. Sinomine will provide financial support, technical expertise, and integrated industry resources to jointly advance the development of the copper project. By combining their respective strengths, the two companies aim to improve project execution efficiency and achieve sustainable economic returns and long-term strategic objectives.

The initial phase of the project will focus on exploration to further define the breccia pipe-hosted copper mineralization within the project area. Based on the exploration results, an exploration program will be prepared, while drilling activities will be carried out in parallel.
As Sinomine's first mining project in South America, the La Joya Copper Project represents an important milestone in the Company's regional expansion strategy. Chairman and President Wang Pingwei stated that the project will serve as Sinomine's flagship project in South America, enabling the Company to gain a deeper understanding of Peru's regulatory framework for mining investment, project development, and environmental protection. The experience gained through the project will provide a solid foundation for Sinomine's continued expansion of its mining business across South America.
