In early April 2026, Sinomine Kitumba Minerals Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Kitumba Mining”) welcomed a group of student visitors from Kaindu Secondary School. A total of 21 Grade 12 students and teachers participated in the study visit, combining classroom learning with real-world experience to better understand how mineral resource development contributes to local development.

The visiting group was warmly received by the Company’s on-site management and safety team. Before entering the operational area, all participants completed a professional safety briefing. Guided by technical staff, the group then toured the large-scale open-pit mine, gaining a firsthand view of modern mining operations.
During the visit, the mine supervisor acted as an on-site instructor, providing a clear and engaging explanation of the full production process—from geological exploration and mining to blasting and transportation. He also emphasized the importance of safety standards, environmental protection, and coordinated operations across all stages.

Many students noted that seeing a modern mining operation in person not only deepened their understanding of the industry, but also inspired strong interest in pursuing future careers in mining, geology, and environmental protection.
As a responsible enterprise, Kitumba Mining remains committed to supporting local education and community development. The Company will continue to open its operations to meaningful educational visits, contributing to the development of local talent and future professionals.
