“Year after year, the autumn winds blow strong; unlike spring, yet every bit as beautiful.” In this delightful season of crisp autumn air and clear skies, nearly 70 Sinomine Resource Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Sinomine Resource”) employees based in Beijing took a break from their busy schedules and set off together for the Honggu Jidong Anti-Japanese War Party History Education Base in Beijing.

Accompanied by autumn scenery along the way, the participants arrived with deep respect for revolutionary predecessors and genuine affection for their colleagues. They revisited their founding aspirations on historic revolutionary ground and strengthened team unity through the rhythms of drums and music in the valley. Blending the cultivation of faith with the warmth of team spirit, this Party-building and team-building event enabled participants to draw strength from the convergence of history and the present, while experiencing the care and support of the company and their colleagues.

Revisiting Revolutionary History and Reflecting on Original Aspirations and Mission

On the day of the event, employees visited the Honggu Jidong Anti-Japanese War Party History Education Base to learn more about the revolutionary history of Pinggu District and revisit the arduous struggles led by the Communist Party of China during the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression.

In a solemn atmosphere, participants took part in a series of activities, including a flag presentation ceremony, renewing their oaths, paying tribute to fallen heroes, singing revolutionary songs, and walking along the historic Anti-Japanese War route. Facing the bright red Party flag, Party members raised their right fists and reaffirmed their oaths with firm conviction. At the memorial to fallen heroes, everyone observed a moment of silence to pay their respects.

Along the historic route, a guide recounted the Battle of Beitumen–Xiong'erzhai. In 1944, the 13th Regiment of the Eighth Route Army, despite being outnumbered, fought fiercely for ten hours and thwarted a summer mopping-up campaign by Japanese and puppet troops. The battle became a turning point in the western part of eastern Hebei, marking the transition from the strategic stalemate to the strategic counteroffensive.

The employees listened attentively and were deeply moved, reflecting on the unwavering convictions and strong sense of mission demonstrated by revolutionary predecessors. Vivid historical scenes and inspiring stories helped them gain a deeper appreciation of this legacy, allowing the spirit of revolution to be carried forward through remembrance and reflection.

The group then proceeded to Hupan Gengduyuan for lunch. Surrounded by clear waters and lush greenery, employees relaxed amid the beauty of the natural environment while appreciating the thoughtful design and craftsmanship reflected in the site's details. The simple meal provided a warm transition after the morning's solemn reflection on history. Colleagues gathered around the table to talk, creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

After lunch, the group moved to Beijing Valley for team-building activities. Randomly divided into four teams, employees took part in an African drumming icebreaker, with each team selecting its own “chief.” Through singing, dancing and shared rhythms, participants quickly became more comfortable with one another.

As the drums began to beat, the teams progressed from unfamiliarity to coordination, moving from individual rhythms to synchronized performances. Every strike, beat and lively note tested teamwork and built trust. The African drumming session gave employees a firsthand experience of the collaborative spirit of “one team, one voice; unity of knowledge and action; harmony in diversity.”

Through music that touched the heart and rhythms that energized the spirit, participants broke down barriers and strengthened mutual understanding. With close coordination and collective effort, all four teams delivered spirited and captivating musical and dance performances. The sounds echoing through the valley were more than the beat of drums—they were an expression of the team's growing cohesion.

Smiles Around the Bonfire and Best Wishes for the Future

That evening, all participants attended a dinner and bonfire gathering, where they enjoyed a relaxed atmosphere and opportunities to connect. During the dinner, new employees introduced themselves in turn, sharing their first impressions since joining the company and stories of how they came to work at Sinomine Resource. Their colleagues responded with applause and laughter, helping new and experienced employees get to know one another better through friendly interaction.

Firelight illuminated smiling faces as everyone joined hands and danced in circles around the bonfire, filling the evening with warmth and excitement. The group then lit handheld fireworks, while spectacular larger fireworks rose into the sky behind them, illuminating the night with brilliant colors.

Some participants moved to the lawn nearby, picked up microphones and sang karaoke, their voices mingling with laughter in the night air. Others gathered in small groups to chat and enjoy a rare moment of relaxation together. Beneath the night sky, employees shared heartfelt wishes for the company and one another: may Sinomine Resource continue to prosper and thrive, and may every Sinomine colleague move forward hand in hand on the path of dedication and achievement, toward a shared future.

Warm words and dazzling fireworks intertwined to bring the event to a memorable close.

This Party-building and team-building event served both as a reaffirmation of revolutionary ideals and as an opportunity to strengthen team unity. From the solemn oaths at the Anti-Japanese War education base, to the synchronized rhythms of collaborative drumming in the valley, and finally to the sincere conversations around the bonfire, employees gained a clearer understanding of their responsibilities while experiencing the company's care through shared activities and companionship.

Over the two days, colleagues who are usually occupied with their respective responsibilities had more opportunities to understand one another. New and experienced employees grew closer through laughter, and bonds of friendship deepened through shared experiences.

Participants said they would carry the conviction and mutual understanding gained from the event back to their workplaces, approach their responsibilities with renewed enthusiasm, and make greater contributions to the Group's high-quality development.
