On April 24, 2026, a delegation of foreign military attachés stationed in Zimbabwe, representing eight countries including Angola, Belarus, Mozambique, Nigeria, Côte d’Ivoire, Zambia, Namibia, and South Africa, visited Bikita Mineral Pvt Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Bikita Mining”). The delegation toured mining operations and processing facilities to gain a deeper understanding of Zimbabwe’s industrial development, investment environment, and progress in mineral value-added processing. The visit was jointly organized by Zimbabwe’s Ministry of Defence and Bikita Mining.

The delegation first attended a presentation on the Company’s development. Ms. Amanda Makausi of Bikita Mining welcomed the guests and provided a comprehensive overview of the Company’s history, operations, industrial layout, and future plans. She also highlighted the lithium sulfate plant project, noting that upon completion, it will further extend the lithium value chain, enhance the added value of local mineral resources, and support Zimbabwe’s deeper participation in the global lithium battery supply chain.

The delegation then visited the spodumene processing plant and the cesium processing plant, gaining firsthand insight into Bikita Mining’s production scale, technical capabilities, operational management, and its practices in safety and environmental management.
On behalf of the delegation, Colonel Odoi delivered remarks, expressing strong appreciation for Bikita Mining’s contribution to Zimbabwe’s economic growth and industrial development. He also acknowledged the positive role of Chinese investment in supporting economic development in Zimbabwe and across Africa. He noted that the visit was highly informative and demonstrated the important role responsible mining companies play in promoting employment, investment, industrialization, and national development.

As a key mining enterprise in Zimbabwe, Bikita Mining remains committed to responsible investment and sustainable development. The Company integrates its growth with local economic development, mineral value addition, technological advancement, and community development. It continues to invest in mineral processing, infrastructure, technology upgrades, and green development, driving the transition from primary resource extraction to higher value-added industrial chains.
The visit provided an important opportunity for Bikita Mining to showcase its achievements, strengthen external engagement, and enhance international recognition. Looking ahead, the Company will continue to support Zimbabwe’s Vision 2030, actively promote mineral value addition and industrialization, and contribute to the high-quality development of Zimbabwe’s lithium industry, as well as to the enduring friendship between China and Zimbabwe.
