On November 18, 2025 (local time), Mwabashike Nkulukusa, Governor of Zambia's Central Province, led a government delegation to inspect Sinomine Kitumba Minerals Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Sinomine Kitumba"). The Governor expressed "great satisfaction" with the project's progress, emphasizing that it has significantly strengthened the government's confidence in the project's role in achieving the national copper production target.

Wang Zhiwei, Chairman and General Manager of Sinomine Kitumba, together with the management team, warmly welcomed the Governor's delegation and accompanied them throughout the inspection.

The delegation visited the mining site, concentrator, future staff dormitories, living planning area and the 50MW solar power station. Impressed by the vibrant construction scene, the Governor highly praised the "Kitumba Speed" and excellent project management capabilities demonstrated by the project. He noted that Sinomine Kitumba is advancing steadily as planned in mining, mineral processing and power supply, making the government firmly believe that the project will not only successfully achieve its stated goals but also make a crucial contribution to Zambia's national strategic target of 3 million tons of copper per year.

In the subsequent special meeting, the Governor sincerely thanked Sinomine Kitumba for actively fulfilling its corporate social responsibility. He stated: "It is rare in Zambia for Sinomine Kitumba to invest over 2 million US dollars in building roads from Mumbwa Town to the mining area and constructing a community market before generating any revenue. This sets an exemplary benchmark for all investors in Zambia."
Addressing potential challenges for the project's future, the Governor solemnly pledged: "The Zambian government will fully support Sinomine Kitumba's investment and development in Zambia through the coordination mechanism among various ministries and commissions."

At the end of the visit, Wang Zhiwei, Chairman of Sinomine Kitumba, Governor Mwabashike Nkulukusa and Justine Kapenda, Assistant Director of the Planning Bureau, jointly accepted a joint interview with Zambia National Information Services (ZANIS). Chairman Wang systematically elaborated on the current construction status of the Kitumba mining area and outlined the future blueprint – including not only the completed and delivered roads and community markets but also long-term plans for school education, local medical care and other fields.
The Governor once again highly affirmed the outstanding contributions made by Sinomine Kitumba to local economic and social development and reaffirmed that the provincial government will provide the strongest support for the project's development. Through the authoritative platform of Zambia's national media, this joint interview clearly conveyed the strategic consensus and cooperation vision between the enterprise and the local government to all sectors of Zambian society.
