In accordance with the safety work requirements of the Group, Bikita Mineral Pvt Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Bikita") has actively carried out a series of activities under the theme of "Everyone Values Safety, Everyone Can Respond to Emergencies - Identifying Safety Hazards Around Us" for the "Work Safety Month", further strengthening safety management, comprehensively enhancing employees' awareness of work safety and their ability to prevent risks in their positions, and ensuring the sustainable development of the enterprise.
Bikita has formulated a plan for the "Work Safety Month" campaign, taking multiple measures from various dimensions such as safety skills training, emergency response drills, hazard identification and rectification, and safety culture promotion. Currently, all activities are in full swing.
1. Comprehensive safety training: Organize all employees to undergo safety regulations training, covering topics such as public health knowledge, occupational health knowledge, job safety responsibilities, equipment operation procedures, hazard source identification, the necessity of hazard investigation and rectification, accident warning education, and emergency response to accidents. The training also includes warning education based on accident cases to enhance employees' awareness of adhering to safety operation norms and improve their safety cognition level.
2. Practical emergency drills: Conduct simulation exercises such as handling fire equipment, dealing with equipment malfunctions, and first aid, to enhance employees' emergency response capabilities through hands-on practice.
3. Hidden Hazard Investigation and Management: A special inspection team was established to conduct a comprehensive safety inspection of the living and working environments, vehicles, water and electricity usage, fire-fighting facilities, and the safe operation of production equipment, ensuring "zero hidden hazards" operation.
4. Promotion of Safety Culture: By organizing safety knowledge competitions, holding safety symposiums within work teams, and promoting safety slogans in multiple languages, an atmosphere is created where everyone recognizes that "safety production is everyone's responsibility."
Gong Xuedong, the general manager of Bikita, stated at the launch ceremony of the Safety Production Month: "Safety production is the lifeline of mining enterprises. Bikita will continuously optimize its safety management system. From senior executives to front-line operators, a complete safety responsibility system should be formed. This 'Safety Production Month' is not only a short-term activity but also the starting point of long-term safety management."
Bikita Mineral will take this event as an opportunity to achieve long-term management from "Safety Month" to "Safety Year", and continuously promote various safety production measures.
